9-1) HOTEL UPDATE Block rooms have been taken! They let us have a few other rooms they had saved, but there is only a few. Make sure you call NOW and mention VW Race to get your room!

We are taking pre-orders for the Event shirts. If you would like one, send us a note with the sizes and pay via paypal sevwa@sevwa.com and we can have it ready for you at the show. Subject: Event Shirt

8-27) Cruise in Saturday night starts at 5:30. Cruise for the Street Shootout will leave Dino's at 6pm. If you are involved in either the Air or watercooled Classes, this is a must! We will also have registration for those the event at Dino's that evening. Everyone is invited for the cruise. The cruise will come back to Dino's for a GTG food, fun and prizes!

For those of you that would like to set up or camp at the track on Saturday. They do have a race that day and it will not end until around Midnight, so we will not be able to do any pre-show setup. You are welcome to camp at the track though. Saturday Spectators fee is $10, racing (if you choose to do so) $40 for top and mod, $30 for street, $25 for trophy. Gates open at 12pm

Caste Systems Performance will we will be offering Unitronic Software flashes at the show. Check out their logo at the bottom of the page for information.

The Pittsburgh Classic is in its 3rd year at Pittsburgh Raceway Park. This year we will be featuring two heads up racing classes. The Pro Outlaw class will be back again and now we have the Cooker's Street Shootout. If you are interested in either of these classes, be sure to check out the race classes link on the side bar of this page for all the details.

This event will include 3 1/8 mile bracket classes A total of $3000 will be given out in 3 classes. Will you be the one to take home the money? Show car area and a New/Used swap meet area.

This event has potential and We need YOUR HELP to continue in making this event the place to be in September.

The Cooker's Street Shootout!

1/4 Mile Heads up race. Winner will take home $3000! Still in need of more sponsors to take care of the rest of the payout/prizes. All Entries will receive a Cookers V-Dub Shootout Shirt, please include your size when you register. Rules listed HERE Registrations will be held at the Cruise-In on Saturday afternoon, be sure to print out the registration form and bring with you.
